Overview
I rebranded PAWS Chicago, a nonprofit animal shelter and care facility, to make the brand feel warmer, more approachable, and more emotionally connected to adoption. Instead of focusing only on rescue or urgency, I wanted the identity to tell a softer story: one about companionship, second chances, and the moment a relationship begins.
Soft typography, earthy colors, playful pet-inspired details, and a compassionate tone of voice help the brand feel friendly and full of heart, while still remaining trustworthy as a nonprofit. At its core, this rebrand invites people into a hopeful mission built on care, trust, and the belief that every animal deserves to be seen, safe, and loved.
